  • It's important you have used the smallest of your three measurements on both the Width and Height. Width: Top, Middle, Bottom & Height: Left, Middle, Right.
  • ...Apart from using the smallest of your three taken measurements on both the width and the height.
  • It's important that you've read our measuring page instructions.
  • We are checking for window squareness; this can exaggerate the gap between the shutter frame and the window opening. Inside L-frame fits can be finished off with beading/caulking for a more professional finish. If you are concerned about your window being out of square, you can try to use a Z-frame instead as the lip will cover gaps, or even opt for a Face fitted shutter.
  • The amount of mm's your three measurements vary by, will usually be how much more your gaps are pronounced, as this indicates that your windows are out of square. 6mm is considered an acceptable variance, but it is totally up to the customer.
You can select multiple. We will also review your photos.
  • This field is optional if no obstructions exist in the area around the edges of the opening, but required if they do exist. The front of your opening meaning closest to the room. Don't fret too much because we will likely be able to see these on the photos that you submit.
  • For Recess/Inside Fits: This measurement is taken from the bottom of window opening to the center of the mid rail, and for Outside/Face Fits: The measurement is from the bottom of the starting point/edge of architrave to the midpoint of where you would like the rail placed. You may also wish to take into account line of sight for mid rail placement that might not be at an adequate height.
  • Anything that is not a standard indoor window opening: Track Sliding Shutters, Bifold Track Shutters, Corner Window Shutters, Bay Window Shutters, Onto doors themselves, Outdoor Shutters.
  • Double Hinged shutters are where one panel is hinged onto the next panel, similar to a bifold shutter but without the tracking system
  • Tier on Tier shutters are a optional paid extra panel configuration, where panels can be opened independently of each other above and below.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
