Everyone’s home is different, and depending on how many motorised curtains or blinds you have, the number of remote controls you’ll need will change. For rooms like a bedroom, that might only feature one motorised curtain, we recommend a two channel remote for each room. For other area’s where you will likely have multiple motorised curtains or blinds, we recommend a 16 Channel remote.
You should always buy a remote with your curtains, you’ll need one for the initial set up and if you order a smart home hub – and they’re handy to have if you are hosting guests.
None if you’re opting to use a remote control, however if you’re planning to use a smart hub, just one. Unless of course your home is gigantic, they can be placed in repeater mode so the signal will reach every corner. With a signal operating distance of 50 metres, for most people, you’ll only need one. There is no limit to the devices being controlled by one hub.

Because your curtains are custom made they do have a lead time associated with them before we can send them out to you.
That will vary but generally is anywhere between 2-3 weeks before we can dispatch them to you. This will not include transit time after dispatch by the freight carriers.
Yes. All of our Curtains are Australian made and are manufactured locally in Melbourne. With the exception of our Plantation Shutters. Our motorisation/electronic products are designed and owned by Australians, but are manufactured offshore.
Due to the way curtains are manufactured, they only take approximately 30 minutes to assemble. Because of this small amount of time to make the curtain, the cost difference between locally produced and overseas produced curtains is often on par or cheaper to manufacture when taking international shipping into account. This is why most window furnishings are still made in Australia.
By buying Australian made curtains you’re supporting local jobs and keeping the money in circulation within Australia to boost our local economy instead of off shore.
There are other benefits as well. For example, if anything happens with your curtains such as made to the wrong measurements – problems can be easily rectified in a short turnaround time of a few business days as opposed to waiting a long time for overseas made curtains.
Lastly, and probably most importantly, overseas made curtains will take 8+ weeks to arrive vs locally made blinds that have a shorter turnaround time.
Our Curtains are made from scratch, to your measurements. We certainly do not cut down ready made Curtains or sell ready made Curtains as in our opinion they are an inferior solution.
